Trusting Jesus in a Wild World

We are so excited to journey True North at this summer’s Vacation Bible School—coming soon!

Join us as we guide children toward Jesus, our unchanging and faithful friend, in a world that often feels uncertain. From Monday, June 23rd through Friday, June 27th, 9:00am to 12:00pm, kids will discover that when life gets confusing or lonely, they can count on Jesus—our rock, our light, our True North. Let’s help them build a faith foundation that’s unshakable!

At True North VBS, kids embark on an exciting Alaskan adventure, rotating through a series of engaging stations designed to deepen their faith and understanding of Jesus as their steadfast guide.

Each day begins with Sing & Play Peak, where high-energy music and the introduction of a new Bible Memory Buddy set the tone for the day's theme. From there, children explore Wild Bible Adventures, immersing themselves in powerful Bible stories that highlight Jesus as their unmovable, unshakable friend forever. At Imagination Station, hands-on science experiments foster creativity and reinforce faith connections. Glacier Games offers fun, active play that ties back to the day's Bible Point, while Tundra Treats provides themed snacks that keep energy levels high and continue the day's lessons.

Throughout the day, volunteers guide small, mixed-age Crews through each station, ensuring personalized attention and fostering a sense of community. This structured rotation not only keeps the experience dynamic and engaging but also ensures that every child encounters the message that Jesus is our True North, guiding us through life's wild world.
